I marshalled at the event, there was no full auto allowed
I and another marshall (In the zone that saw the most action) witnessed no full auto
There was a request to the main organiser Al(that "dick/moron") for full auto which was promptly denied
You heard full auto sound signature? boards regulate ramping (which was allowed if people had common sense) it gives off a uniform sound - easy to confuse the two

it was the same rules for everyone- There was scenario players, tourny players and non players marshalling- no blind eyes for anyones actions

Derailing a topic with half-facts to slag off someones event/hard work to provide enterainment for others isnt koolaid
sorry pal but im going to have to knock you down a peg or two, you look far to comfy up there on your high horse

a- u marshaled the evert... well done have a cookie i played the event and the only place i saw marshals was in ur little netted box's .
so and the only marshal in a box taking interest was iain so a button on your lip please

b-at the begining of the day i asked the orginizer about the ramping situation? no ramping was what i was told... fair does
not like i needed it any way
..... but when i move around with the other guys i find seveal ion's ramping a5's with assited fire mode etc , so dont give it all it was not allowed when clearly no 1 listened to a word that was said about it.

c- same rules for every 1 eh ..... mmmmm nope wrong again, hears a tail from the last bit of the day, me and dskize siting at the plastic boxes closeest to the fence.... we see ppl moveing around so we give it bursts of fire to take them out... now us being regular walk on'ers at various site up and down scotland we know when we are taking the piss and when we are not,
any way we are shooting burst hear and there and i c some 1 running across the long grass so i line up a put a desent string of paint infront of were the guy is going , over the distance only 2 or 3 ball contacted with the other player, no this is were it gets fun.... the player plays on so i line up and put an other line infront of him , this is were ur savior steps in and gives the bold line " if you can hit him with 1 ball you ant gonna hit him with 20" ........ im sorry what .... do you play paintball at all???? so i let it go this time, next some 1 comes through the fence line hidin by the grass he gets to a box more or less on the fence line , i see him i take my shot, small string of paint goes man get hit clear as day great i think wait a sec he ant came out ... hes now shooting from the other side of the box, i shout of a marshal to cheak him,,, im looked at like im a moron i shout again and again and your savior pops up again.. give it a rest he says calm dowm, go cheak him hes gone... let the marshal do his job.... do his job if he was doing his job he would have cheaked him out and pulled him u morron.. next im angry by the point so next guy i c gets a hail of paint slung at him no holding back 12/13 bps .. guys who pops up ye u know and what does he say ,, go easy on the paint gggggrrrrrrr fine leave me alone, next i look over my sholder to see a scottish warrior giving it some welly, more than me i might say on this e blade steve carson take a bow... any way he lets rip mr savior has a look....... guess what nowt said mmmmmm
rules for me and rules for u so again your wrong

d- half ass facts to slag some 1 off....... no you will find that is called a point of view , u know thats what u think of something after being there and it does tent to differ from what the orginizer set out to do

so dont you dare make it look like he is out just to slag your pittifull walk on for the hell of it , its all a point of view from our persective and if you dont like it tuff ,all thats been said was what was seen !!!!
so dont lecture any 1 when you just dont have a scoobie fella !!!!

**edited to cause MORE offence !!!!!!**

aye well said my piece on the matter and still believe in what I posted

I wasnt attempting a lecture or to belittle someone to make myself look better/high horsing (if it reads that way, it reads that way)

so no retractions from me only a word to say I dont place myself above anyone nor will I hate myself if people think I do

Sound like a typical Marshal vs Player Scenario (weve been here all before - i feel 99% of marshalls take a course in being a 24ct c**t anyhow so my comments dont count and of course when its you as a player involved... your never wrong... well im never wrong anyhow;))... never the less what you bloody scotts do up there, we really dont care about:)

I thought you Celtics were a tournament team... i hate to be frank but why are you spending money on a dodgy walkon when you could be spending your cash training where its very much needed.... i love you guys to bits but c'mon...

To be honest Chris with something like a walk on..to keep everybody happy is to bring in a cap - i cap particularly lower than what tournament's hold. ie maybe 10-11 a second (as far as i know most guns which have adjustable modes can cap as low as about 11.. anyone that doesnt have this facility need to watch what thier firing - this will stop tournament guns and RTs upsetting your breadwinners.

of course with this cap - you will notice your paint funds go comsiderably low- try and take a happy medion from keep punters happy or revenue..

hope that helps

Right im going to answer this on a very personal level

I have no issues at all playing rec ball at walk-ons ,its where I started playing paintball and I have a lot of very good friends that dont play tourney and never will no matter how much I try to point them in that direction(mostly because of commitment ,money, and maybe not giving as much of a **** as I do), and when it really comes down to it paintball is something I care a hell of a lot about and spend a **** load of money on and actually organize my life around, sad as it may seem but im sure im not the only one. BUT if it wasnt for rec ball sites and then walk ons(natural punter progression) I wouldn't of had a chance to play at all and would know nothing about paintball and the tourney scene

In Scotland we have two tournament teams - if it wasnt for the Clan (lots of respect due) the Keltics would only get 1/4 of the training they could which is 1/1000th of the training we currently need ,There are two sup air fields in Scotland that I know of - the Clan owns one and im friends with the guy that owns the other one and we can only use the land available if the owner isnt playing ****ing polo, If I lived near the Northern quarter or anywhere that I could go every Sat ,Sun and anyday during the week that i wanted to and play on sup air - believe me I would be there , i dont have that facility so i play wherever I can - and if that means that I have to put up with the snobbery that goes with being a commited tourney player that still plays in the woods then so be it (no dig intended Ian) ,I think that anything that happens in Scotland that promotes paintball and gets more people involved means there's more people that might come and take it further and play real paintball(again personal opinion scenario peeps - ive upset enough people this week ;)) so to end on the point i should of said at the start - something happens in Scotland or involves my mates - I support it - end of

EDIT: Also - its generally a laugh - although incidents like the one stated above have led me believe what some of my teammates and other ballers in general have been telling me for months - that goin to woodsball walk-ons is a waste of time.

Sorry you didn't quiet take that with the pinch of salt i thought u would bud...

Whilst i can relate to what your saying, there is no better training than drilling - i do 80% of mine in the back garden snapping out of a wheelie bin and upsetting the Steward that runs the British Legion behind my house....
