Well, given that what Quick might have said could be true in those specific cases, we must consider that nothing made by human beings can be 100% reliable 100% of the time because by our very nature we are not. It is entirely possible to get the percentage of bad specimens that exist out there, and though less likely it is possible to get more than one, thus presenting the image that in fact their products are all entirely $hit.
What one must then look at to determine a good manufacturer is exactly how small a percentage of defective products exists. It will never be zero. It just can't be. However, in light of what most of us have seen of Shocktech, that percentage is pretty damn low, low enough that a very large percentage of individuals and teams, the biggest and most visible example being Aftershock, can use Shocktech stuff with near perfect functionality that helps them achieve a great degree of success.
By the way, Robbo, does Shocktech sell bulk packs of Bomb orings? For some reason or another, every now and then mine nicks orings ever so slightly if they're not lubed up within two or three weeks and leaks at the first hint of wear. In my opinion they should sell about 10 orings with every Bomb because no other 3way orings fit it correctly and they're not easy to find.
