Yes, the drive cone tab 'snapage' is a well documented problem. It even has it's own thread over on pbnation

Mine went and I was going to buy a new cone when a kind chap on here pointed me to the screw mod. As Paul says just screw a suitable size screw through the bottom to take the place of the broken tab. Far more resilient, never had my screw snap ;) I also did mine a little different than shown in the thread and drilled from underneath so nothing is visible from above (which negates the possibilty of paint getting torn on the screw head).

Telly-fed halo's have are being used by Arsenal at the moment... or they were using them not too long ago...

One of the WDP AD's has a picture of Marcus with one...

Yeah, they are the ones that use 3 9V batteries!!!

The fact that they can put that much current into the halo motor and not break paint proves how good the principle is...
