Shocktech drive cones (messy)

Just put one in my empire HALO and it turns in an £80 paint soup machine does anyone else have this problem or can anyone solve this problem,cheers

Take a butchers...

I think the jist of it was you can stop it destroying the paint but you have to turn the speed settings down some (it already slows you down 1-2 bps due to weight). However if you slowed your halo down in the first place it'd be easier on drive cones anyway.

Turning down the torque setting did the trick for me...

Whatever you are doing that is breaking your drive cone is not very good for the paint in your hopper either.

I would keep the standard drive cone and just stop twatting your hopper against the wall or whatever it is your doing

I've had my drive cone nub break before no wall hitting required...

none whatsoever iirc...might have happened when I had the v35 board in maybe a jam??....
Can't remember to be honest, all I know is I have the drive cone and the broken tab on my desk at home lol, will be doing the 'screw mod' soon so I have a back up halo.

You could have called it intelifeed, but 3 months of development and testing have passed since then...


The screw mod seems alot better than buying a whole new drivecone to me, especially one that seems to work as a 'downgrade' from the stock one...
