Put a spacer underneath the Cup, or an o-ring or whatever, that lifts it, stops it rubbing and stops the screw tightening the cone down onto the raceway. It should be in the kit.
Also, there was some kit that wasn't compatible with the stock drive shaft.

right just had a look. inside the cup is the hole where the pin goes through. now the st needs the pin hole to be at the same hight as the cup. so if the pin hole is higher than the out side edge of the cup it needs to be cut or a different cup
