Shocker Upper Board/Noid

I thought if you pulled the pins out of a parker noid it buggered it. Interesting have you done it before?

Just stripped my shocker to check. I must have been thinking of another marker i've had. Don't try it.

From memory you can remove the pins but you need to heat them with a soldering iron carefully to remove and it's not very successful as they are attached internally onto the cool. What's more successful is getting a Humphrey top board and de soldering the pins from that. Saying that it's been a few years since I did a full build from the ground up.

Haha thought I was going mad then. Got all the stuff to attempt the repair at Maplin today. Fingers crossed for me guys.

i may have those parts mate,, i will have a look see as to what i have,,you can also use the luxe niod with a few mods.. but i may have all the parts you need,,let me see

Thanks gommie replied to your pm. Did the repair today and tested the noid once un soldered from the board. Turned out the noid was duff. I continued with the repair anyway to show how it would be done.
