Ill think ill stick with smartparts batteries because the electric stuff messes with my head. I dont want to risk getting it wrong and blowing up my circuit board. Thanks for going to the trouble.

Actually the greater risk in battery voltage is having too little voltage, which doesn't get much attention but is the worst on chips. With a 9v you can replace them every so often to avoid such a problem. I think the SP battery is 6v like an Angel battery.
