as you all should realise by now, I know very little about putting things together, none of the preds really had a clue as to how our stuff worked, we just used it. there may well be a valve somewhere, Jon said to look for something brassy and with a pin it it, I did and found lots of things with pins in, and they don't look like valves.
That's what you have a tech on the team for!
Valves should look like the stuff in the link I posted. There's a valve spring, a cup seal on a rod and the valve guide (round brass thing with holes in).
I've had it up on a sticky thing at the top of the forum, that anyone is welcome to come to my studio and look at bits and have a tinker.
the top one has nothing at all in it, unless someone has started making see through stuff, as I can see daylight through the barrel and under barrel.

Don't suppose you've come across the pump rods for them? L shaped rod that goes from the pump handle to the bolt at the back of the marker. @I used to good.Honest
