Don't be like that Robbo. If no body ever messed around with stuff like this nothing would ever progress. We'd still be using 12grams and pump guns if no one ever tinkered. (Not that that's a bad thing)

The main reason i did it is in the first post, but another is also to be unique. Everyone wants their marker to stand out, whether it be full of ups, annodised, lasered etc. I just thought i'd take the leap and do this.

I'm perfectly fine at snap shooting. I haven't been sat in a dark room going at this constantly for weeks upon weeks. Like i said in the first post, it was completed gradually over a year.

TL;DR: Why not?

I didn't mean to come across as condemnatory, I just couldn't understand what all the hoo ha was about I suppose.

I think for me, paintball was all about being better on the field than the next guy but when I look across all paintball forums, players, especially the younger ones, seem to be obsessed with markers and fiddling about with them.

Ya don't see Ollie Lang or Danny Tiljack spending anywhere near the time or attention to their markers as some guys do, they pick their gat up, shoot fools and put it back in their kit bag.
They will certainly clean and maintain it but won't spend hours talking about it, rubbing it between their legs, cuddling it or whispering sweet nothings up its breach ....you get my drift?

I am often surprised by just how much people obsess over hardware when the game of paintball is so much more.

I suppose that's the point i would like to make but hey, WTF do I know, if people wanna spend time fiddling, then cool, good luck to them.
I wasn't meaning to diss anybody here, more question them, that's all mate.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys!
