I'm looking into getting a rechargeable battery for my ion, soon as I use them in my ReloaderB

Try investing in a Q-lock aswell, which replaces the center feed, the stock ion one is a blimming pain to put the loader on and off

Yeah, take it easy for the first few balls - I recently bought an ICD Promaster cheap (was desperate) and out of the box I just let rip and it was an instant soup-cannon. Take it easy for 20 - 30 balls then work your way up.

Usual suggestions for first ups for an Ion are a new barrel and a new feedneck, but play with it first, see what you like, see if *you* feel that you're unhappy with a certain part. Don't just follow the stickies in the tech forums for Ion Ups, go with what you feel it needs. Also, take it slowly with ups - if you go out and blow a load of cash and completly overhaul it in a weekend, you have no more ups to look forward too :D

Just hard to get the hopper in and out. Basically if you get a Q-lock or a cam lock of some sort, you just put the hopper in, and close the lock by pushing the arm in, which locks it, then to get the hopper out, pull the arm the opposite way to release the force, so you can lift the hopper out easily, Redz International are doing a good offer, when you buy a Redz Kit for the Ion, you get a free cam lock! :)

Pointer about batteries, if you use new batteries / more powerful batteries it changes velocity so make sure you chronograph it before shooting people.

also try not to change settings unless you have read and understood manual.
