Would be really interested to hear how you go on with this prob. I have a 05 with a reloader B, tried it with 6 batteries on setting 2 and 3 etc. managed to get the chopping down to about 1 in 70 but may aswell start working for dulux the way its going.

Thinking about going to a Z boarded Eggy.

Yes I'll let you know- no problem-I'm in the process of attaining more paint at the moment, but I've adjusted the ram stroke-with no difference and tried all settings on the reloader-but not the 4 aa battery pack yet.As you have stated-the best I've got so far is about 1 breakage in 60/70 balls- the experiment will continue....but the EGG looks favourable day by day!

Is the drive belt in your halo well greased??

Have you tried a different halo board, like a Z-Code or V35, they are less likely to push at the wrong time like the reloader does...

A cheap alternative to the 4AA battery pack is to use a single 9V pp3 cell.
Although the voltage output is the same it will drop alot more during load due to the batterys ability to source current...

Result-finaly

I managed to get some old paint(EVIL) which was rock solid-it absolutely RIPPED through the reloader on all settings-therefore the conclusion is-don't use brittle paint!!!
I also got an egg-just incase.:D

Reloader V egg

I am too am going to a Z boarded Egg, the reloader was just a nightmare.

Egg with brittle paint 1 barrel chop in 500 paintballs

Reloader with Crucifire, Toro and Empire 1 chop in 50 paintballs.on the bolt.

According to the AOG forum that reloader puts too much pressure on the ball stack and the paddles are rigid so there is minimal give where on the Egg they are alot more flexible.

I have been through all the same problems and spoken to WDP And LPS and they say the simple way to stop this is to put a standard Halo B on and it will rip.

Another theory, not mentioned here, is that some reloaders and Halo's don't stop fast enough when told to by the board they are using. This put undue pressure on the ball stack and creates a nightmare..........

They go into this in detail on the AOG forum. Theory posted by Ken Crane, MT. Actually, it's not a theory, he actually proved it..........

I use a Halo with V35 board on my Speed 05 and the same loader on my FLY. Never had a problem.
