Hello peeps-I'm running an Angel Speed 05 with an Empire reloader B .....but having big trouble setting it up(as we're not sponsored by any paint manufacturers...its starting to get rather expensive!)The trouble seems to be the loader(as it totaly ripped using an egg-at least it seemed to when I fired it).....but whatever setting I tried on the Empire loader-it just wanted to chop and spray at fast rates of fire.........can anyone help out there?.........please tell me your:
a) Dwell settings
b)Hopper type settings(on gun)
c)speed of feed on loader
d)any other info that would be of help
Failing that-there might be a cheap empire reloader b for sale.

You have to make sure that you get the Hopper seated in the right place. If not the ball stack could be such, that the balls are not being seen by the eye....of course, thats if they have Eys's on them!! Its hard to keep up with what one Angel has that another doesnt!!

If its Sensi...make sure you set it up correctly...or make sure your Max ROF isnt set too high.

Also, if its Sensi, and you no longer use the Egg, teh Sensi rod or sensor may be poopered, which is why you get the problem...something to do with teh pressure from the Hopper, breaking teh rod or sensor...if you still have your Egg, try that again, if it chops, I would say teh rod or sensor is ferked.

Skeet this one has eyes...

One of the most important things that can cause problems with halos and angels is the ram stroke.

When you open your breach (with the gun gassed up) there should be a slight click of the bolt pin when closing the breach and slight resistance and a click when opening it.

If this is not setup correctly you are probably getting roll back which is causing the halo to crush paint in your breach.

If the ram stroke is fine check that both your ball detents are functioning correctly.

If its not that then make sure you are using quality (3 bounce+) paint, as halos are alot less kind to paint than eggs.

These are the only things that could cause chopping problems with a halo but not an egg...

to be honest I would turn the reloader down a notch, try running it using the 4aa battery pack as well, to be honest I went to my Halo with the V35 board in when I had troubles with my reloader breaking paint and it was a whole lot better (on setting 3)

Cheers Guys for the input-will try what's suggested.....uh-yes it is an 05(but I bought it in 2004?):D ....the paint quality is suspect-(don't tell our Capt'n!!!-he thinks I'm fussy-the ONLY paint with quality was Forest White-Heavy):Dthe only thing which threw me was it fired ok through the egg-but I understand what your saying about having to be nice to the paint- any other suggestions?
P.S: for those of you who don't know what Forest White-Heavy is...its a myth....just like LP's,ZX Spectrums and Sinclair C5's :D
