yeah, t'was the RDX lads I think..... silly buggers must have been freezing......

There's a few decent travel inns near to the site, and at only £35 a room, it's not that bad, about a case of paint in cost, for a nice warm room with tea and coffee and a little packet of biscuits!

Oh, and a pub next door.... can't forget that!!!

I though that the pub next door was pants and all the paintballers were in bed by 10.

Ohh, with the exception of RDX we are a rugged lot.

Mad fools

Speeking as one of the mad fools who camped out at STC Friday and Saturday night, it was pretty cold, particularly Fri-night, but we weren't the only ones!

We students are a hardy (if foolish) bunch, but I'd prefer the early morning than to camp at Elsham in Jan

Would it not be more correct to assume that the fiscal situation of being a student lent the impetus to camping.

If I had my VW camper on the road with heater I would camp out, no problem.

The Travel Inn with the pub opposite is where I always stay, my room has been booked for nearly a week already.

Provided there's anyone else at all that I know in there, I can usually be found hanging out in the Anchor (the pub right next to it) until around 11.00pm - should have Sparklie in there with me this time

I'll have to agree it was bloody cold on the friday and Saturday night and I could not feel my feet when I woke up

In fact I still could not feel my feet @ the end of the day on the way home
