worms, can of, opened! oops

OK Ledz playing for K2, taken in to account it wasn't that, that I was taking a pop at, I have on occasion seen ledz propping up the back bunker for you guys (and wandering down the centre taking an entire team of imperial out , nice one antony!)
No it was generally, as you had pointed out, a lot of the teams in the comp were fielding teams which literally weren't their teams. guesting now and again fine, entire guested team not good..just to recieve the points. Isolated point this as it tend not to happen most of the time, when it does it is annoying for the teams that play the series for the series rather than points. If teams need the points that badly they should be there, in full.

point also taken about sandbagging wrong use of the word sorry guys

still waiting for the id cards from bully by the way

rant over:)

If you're playing for the experiance and not the points surely the tougher competition the better? :)

Hell we had Spirit in the semi's at least 3 of the team were taken out by Ju from Nexus are we moaning? no way, its all experiance!

Am I right in thinking that they changed the team after they had won the division? Or was it the same team all day? Not often that a Division D team wins overall! ;)

D Division

I can assure you that the D Division team who played the KO was the same as the league. Team Spirit.

There was a breakdown in communication between myself and Mark from the site. When Mark booked a team in I assumed the team would be similiar to the team who played the MM a couple of weeks ago - If I had checked I would have found it was a guest team and if I had known who would be playing they would have been in B or C division.

Nexus as guests

I think the presence of Ledz, Chris and a few of the other guys adds to the tourney. And should lead to a rise in the standard of all teams they have an input into.

Nice to see Ledz in any shirt back on the UK circuit, his presence is always welcome.

They bring experiences with them from playing in the states that everyone should be listening to and trying to learn from, can anyone think of a better way than to allow them to guest for teams. (someone is bound to say clinics, but training and playing are not the same thing)

IF there had been 4 or 5 or the Nexus guys in a 7 man team, playing under K2 then I think people would have had cause to complain but they werent.

Our semi against K2 was the biggest rush of the day for me as I new Ledz and Jdoe were in there, isnt that why we all play? And if messrs Lang, Fraig and Greenspan had turned up (they were in the country) surely what an advertisement for s2k3 and paintball in the north in general.

Well done to all the guys in Portugal, to even get a sniff of the finals with the "national" reffing that goes on is a real achievement.
