Selection methodology for UK X-Ball team...

Aarg! I wrote this post out nicely, was just about to post it and my cat jumped on the keyboard and I lost the whole thing. It's 0337 in the flippin morning and I don't want to write the damn thing again...*Sigh*

This is mainly directed at Robbo. I was going to e-mail it, but I couldn't locate up your address that I'd seen in previous threads.

Can you elaborate on your methods for selecting the UK X-Ball team? I ask as some here have recently been discussing heading to Toulouse next year, and one of the questions is "Who's going". I've previously read your thoughts on the importance of individual skill over communication and team work. Are you mainly just watching games and looking for talent, or running drills, or perhaps something completely different?

I'll be playing off 5 man teams against each other all day long with a watchful eye focussing on technique, awareness and stamina.

That should just about preclude every UK pro I know

Flash, yeah, just as soon as I get time to find a date, the venue will be more than likely the Temple but I have got a few things taking up a lot of my time at the moment, so give me a few weeks and I will get round to naming the date !
