You folks are always searching high and low for Loc-tite, bolts, and o-rings. Have you no hardware stores? Surely people fix things in England? I realize there's this metric system that we never quite got around to accepting, and maybe parts are a little hard to come by, but since we have oodles of metric bolts in our hardware stores, surely your hardware stores (if you have such establishments) stock a few imperial unit based widgets.

 Just puzzled that it is so hard to come by the easy things...

Good luck finding a few loose screws!:)

I think it's not that there aren't any stores with these things, it's more like the average paintballer is not well versed with the mechanics of their pride and joy.

They would rather send the marker away to be repaired than open it up and delve into the murky depths of seals, grease and o-rings.

Modern markers like the Angel are designed to be very closed off to the user, sealed and never to be opened, unlike the old and much loved Automag. This marker actually came with a video describing how to repair and maintain it. It was purposely designed to be maintained on the field, without an assortment of specialised tools.

Those were the days eh !!!. These markers were simple in construction, but in every walk of life, to improve speed and performance, there has to be some sacrifice. The complexity of modern markers is a trade off between performance and weight, and this is seen in every mechanical device that has evolved.

So don't blame the average paintballer, he or she, just wants to shoot the sh#t out of their opposition, and leave the technical stuff to those who know.

Hmmm... ok, that makes sense. I feel that Timmies, Impulses, and Matrices are actually simpler (circuit boards excepted) than 'mags or 'cockers ever were, but I suppose that is in fact debatable. I am sure Vikings would be simple too, if you didn't need an oddball $17 tool to open one up.
