I am launching the Northern Masters, the site i am hoping will hold the event is Paintball Pursuits at Scotch Corner on the A1, if everything goes smoothly it should be up and running in a couple of months.

I will be having a word with Sid shortly to find another venue nearer to his area too, as i understand how far at present you guys have to travel to a tournament...and how truly dedicated to the sport you must be.

no offense wendy as i understand the reasoning behind setting up the northern tourney but we will probably still travel to whichever tourney has the most best teams at it and what your doing is splitting them again which will make the leagues weaker and not improve teams.

To improve you have to play teams that make you raise your game!

Why do you think we travel to train at Northern Quarter there are two sites near us within 10miles that we can train at but we are the best there. At Northern Quarter there are players which are worse than us, some that are the same but then there are some class ballers who train there also and they bring our game up

wendy this is just what i'm looking for. and jasper would you not like it if more scottish teams could play at your level, as i'm willing to travel to central scotland to play, so i will support anyone which will set up leagues in scotland, i will not beable to play at pro just now but a novice league would bring more players into the game. more players means better players to play. i undersand what you are saying jasper however we need to arise the scottish game and numbers playing at any level.

No offense taken Jasper, i like that you speak your mind.

Not all players attain to as high a level of playing ability as others, some just like playing similar to Sunday league football, and train once a month. I agree if a team is looking to go places they will play/train where the better teams play. Teams will make the decision.

We all train at Point Blank, Darlington, they have air available and sup'air training, some of the guys from Phoenix, Just Manchester, DV8, Furion and Dunny from Nexus all train at this site.

I see what your saying with the sunday football thing.

We just need an event as well though that has a big incentive for all the teams that want to aspire will attend. That way creating better UK teams. I see the 7 masters is starting to fill up with some decent teams but i still see some missing that i hope turn up.

Hi this is Stuart from Propaintball in Carlisle
I received 2 calls over the weekend asking if i would reinstate another Propaintball Cup for 2006 as a few of the local northern teams wanted to play paintball and the venues were getting less and less.

I remember the good old days when we would get 14 or more teams playing, but due to the expense of paintball this slowly dwindled away.

Understand tourney paintball is expensive, the more you train the better you get, the better you get the more you play, the more you play the more expensive it gets etc.. etc..

I would probley be willing to put on 3 events over this year, and maybe some other northern sites would be willing to do the same.

Probley do it as a 5 man limited event to keep costs down for players. 15 to 20 quid entry and paint would be BYO

3 fields complete with marshalls.
