Fab day, big thanks to Sid for the loan of Damien,Mike & Azz...good blokes..all you Clan players are welcome up here any time. Same goes to all the players from yesterday. We all contributed to the first ever National Championships and I look forward to meeting up with you all again sometime..

Congrats to the clan (old school) for taking first (even though we bet you) it was an education.

congrats to Northern exposure for taking second, you guys were scary (even though we bet you too)

just wait 'till next year. Hope the talk of a scottish league wasn't just hot air... 10 teams turned up and all played well, special shout outs to the invergordon rogues our local rivals and to the shetland wolves who gave us a hard game and to the predators whose position didnt reflect their skill or cunning

As I said on Sunday this is the first tournament in Scotland for over 14 years!!! And it has to be said, it was brilliant. Relaxed, no pressure, fun, great atmosphere, brilliant site. Well done to all the teams involved. Yes Clan old school won the event, but it was tough going. What is nice to see is paintballers in Scotland actually stepping up and playing. Yes, to get better we need to play better and more experienced teams and more experienced teams will still have to travel for this. However this is a great start to hopefully revive Scottish Leagues.

Well done to all involved.

yeah mate, they cancelled it cos it was too dangerous, I dunno something about the canyon being flooded....fags!!!

However, watching Clan guys go down white water rapids jumping from boat to boat to beat the crap out each other was fun

Anyway.....topic topic topic or the only ever Scottish tournament thread will be pulled by mr mod

Well over seven hours driving in each direction (most of them over the limit) to ref the event for Dave and to be honest I thought it was going to be a walk in the park for the Clan boys but I was very impressed with the standard of play all round.
The Clan Old School deserved to win and without sounding condescending I was very impressed with big Sid's abilities on the field another one of the Clan Squad (Sean) did do the most unsuccessful move of the day - good try but I think he needs more practise.......
The site was top class and you can see the work Dave has put in it paying off.
The teams are there to form a Scottish League and the sooner it gets done the better.
I would suggest sharing it between Wildwoodz and A1 so you can all share the driving equally.

personally i thought my move showed some incredible skill and precise body movement, especially as i had a great big splat on my goggs, which was obviously from the inside of my bunker Russ!
