The save phace masks are full plastic. I tried them on once, and I remember them creaking and feeling quite uncomfortable. To me, they're just a novelty way of having a face drawn on your mask.

Heard nothing but good things about the proto's though. I'd probably get a pair myself if my bank balance wasn't so dysmal.

If your interested still I own a pair of save phace goggles....

To be honest I only wear them if I'm tagging along with non paintball friends to a punter day. They look badass but for serious play I'd rather wear my grillz.

I use my Savephace mask for scenario days where im humping through the undergrowth and generally not moving around as much. Technically as a mask they are good... lenses never fog, and they give good overall coverage to the face and they look the business.

However if you're gonna be moving around at any kind of pace i find they are heavy and tend to have a bounce effect on my head.

I still use my i3's over my i4's though.... i just like the i3 better.

you really need to try on a mask before you buy

some will just feel horid on one person but perfect on the next

for me the grillz are spot on couldnt ask for a nicer mask
