Salm Back!

Took this from Pod Bitch and I also know thist be true:

Jeremy Salm is the new team manager for the Bad Boyz Toys camp (Aftershock, Shochtech etc...??...). Player selection, game plans, practices will now fall under one of paintball's greatest coaches. Say what you want about his past, but Salm has turned it all around and is a great paintball mind. The Renick wasn't the only Pro camp going after Salm............

So what do you lot think of this a good thing or a bad thing?

the guy made a mistake and payed for it, well his reputation will always be tarnished.
I know what happened at the world cup was stupid and pointless but im sure hes learnt from that and I wish him the best of luck

Well provided he's not allowed a marker, or to climb any trees i'm sure he'll do a good job. At least he can give a good account on the true penalties of being caught cheating.

Just cus he can pull some game outta a Novice outfit doesn't mean he's a PB genius--tho maybe he is. But if the NXL were getting any press--wouldn't EVERY story about AfterShock have to include a bit about the slippery past of their coach/captain? Not sure I'd care for that much.

This may be true but look at Cantona for instance everyone remembers the Kick offence but He served his time and came back and won the season for Utd. Yes his rep was tarnished but it made him as a player and when he came back the press could only have good things to say as he was doing a great job despite everyone remembering the bad bit, it did not stop him being great.

Maybe we will remember Salm as a bad person and cheat but perhaps we should let him do his new role in paintball and see if he can prove him self to be a good leader and fiar leader. If things go wrong again you just have to say well he was always bad but only say that when he proves it not when he has had no chance to prove anything.
