"there used to be a rule stating that hiding your armband or acting (citing from memory) in a way that makes the other team reasonably think you are eliminated was a reason for elimination. I used to warn players before a game that they would be pulled using this rule, since I'm very strongly against DMW (I think it only encourages overshooting).

That rule is gone now replaced (somehow) with the one that states that not having your hand on your head constitutes a playing-on."

I cant seem to find anything about having your hand on your head...anyone?

It´s really weird - going into last season I read the rules through multiple times, just to make sure I had them covered before playing the ms events (stupid some might say;)) - and I am DEAD sure there was a mention about dead mans walk being against the rules/woudl result in a penalty...

So just went through the entire rulebook again - and it seems you are right? So I can only assume the MS board removed it sometime between last spring and now?!

Odd.....

can someone just clarify EXACTLY what a dead mans walk is i have a rough idea but seem to be slightly unclear on it ...

Pyro's were allowed in the UKM upon till the end of last season as demonstrated by CPL07 at the Welsh Open ... shame it got outlawed
