Russian Legion v Avalanche

Can anyone tell me what the result of this game this morning was? I know Moose was called over to deal with the argument but I wasn't around for the decision.

The way I saw it the 'lanche player was 1-4-1'd but by then he had taken out two Legion players (wrongly). They had quickly had their armbands removed. The Legion player that was allowed to go back and hang the flag didn't have a band on.

I think the marshals should not have removed the Legion players bands but should have wiped them down. However, once their bands had been removed it was wrong to allow the player to return for the flag without a band, making the final score...er, pass

Anyone??

I saw that - there was some kind of dead-man-walking going on by Avalanche, cos the player walked away from the large pyramid, only to be sent back by a ref. He then took out the 3 Russians who had already passed him, before the incident which left nobody on the field for several minutes.

The last Russian was sent back, much to the chagrin of 'lanche, and took the flag. I can't see how u can reverse that decision if the armband was already pulled.

Hmm, I got a question because I saw some strange sh*t in CC...
Have I not understod the 27.7 rule correctly that DMW is no longer permitted?

OOH Now there's a whole new thread in the making

I pointed this out a while back but no-one seemed to have picked up on it...

I also now believe the DMW is not allowed. The very act of partaking in a DMW means you have eliminated yourself

Which makes it interesting for some of the guys I saw screaming at the marshalls when the guy tried to pull one and they took his band and sent him to the dead box!

Wonder if those guys would ever admit to being wrong?

I wonder if those guys have ever really read the rules...

Not many people have, or read the latest ones before a big event like they ought to...

Hey with the current rules as they stand you could have quite a lot of fun as a marshal...

Unless it's been changed since Germany, I as a marshal could tell an eliminated player to go to the dead box and 'abuse a member of his team'.... if he didn't do it I could start pulling 1-4-1's

But lets hope the EPA does its thing and sorts out all these issues for us in the off season!
