Hmmm...I note the smilie. I think AGD really need a good sponsorship deal with a top team or two. From '99 till now you've always been able to find pics of one if not more top Pro teams using Angels. It's funny though now how gear usage seems to be coming down more to sponsorship and less player/team preferences. Who was the last AGD team I heard sponsored? Jax Warriors...Pardon me but who? :)

Plus an ad campaign in APG (Rec ballers read that mail order catalogue don't they? Oh. You mean it's a Paintball mag? I couldn't tell).

Reasons I won't swap my Angel for an Emag - I was disappointed with the magnetic trigger. It's just not as crisp as my Angel's which is why I got the darn thing. And, even if the Level 10 doesn't break paint as much (And believe me, there is NO such thing as a gun that NEVER breaks paint) you don't have much choice other than to shoot it clean. At least the roto-breach on the Angel is easy to open. Not necessarily easy to clean if it gets really messy though. But to counter I think I only got bolt stick on my Mag once (Which was weird). And I still don't like the kick on a Mag. Don't get me wrong...I Love my MicroMag to bits...

Oh...Just to add a couple more things. I don't think AGD got the price right on the Emag. How much of the dev costs were already done with the RT? Obviously AGD didn't want to compete on price. Uh...And the weight. Someone's obviously figured that out, thus the SFL and C&C Emags...

PS - Scotty...I do.

I think most of the development costs went on the elecs. and making them" bombproof".The board in the grip has plenty upgrade space,it can be set up for different feed systems, rates of fire(in the States:( )plus theres the manual override/hybrid system. The trigger is adjustable and there's a Blade type trigger soon that may be more adjustable(I think:confused: )
Price wise are they too expensive? isn't most paintball gear ,AGD gear has always been expensive, though I'm loathed to say overpriced because the engineering?build is always spot on and they have good back up.
They(AGD) do need to sponsor a major team or two and,as you rightly say,do a big promo. job...has anybody seen an Extreme under review in any paintball mags ?...nope me neither,I just hope they don't try to rely on loyalty to sell markers as they've done for the last few years.

e-mags

yes robbo did use a e-mag for a while but he has also used a lot of other markers like most pro's In my opinion the e-mag rocks, but chopping balls is down to the loader not feeding the marker quick enough.A 12bps hopper caln't keep up with a marker firing at 13bps .so therefore you need a warpfeed and a "eye" to stop chops in these high end markers to benifet there rof:)

We often train with a team that has two extreme e-mags in it. I had the chance to fire them a few times, and they sure as hell fire sweet.
I think the main problem is (Manike has already hinted at this) that AGD hopped onto the electro wagon a little too late. Had they released the original e-mag three years earlier, people would have bought them by the shedload. But now the electro niche has already been filled by other markers and makers.
Also, when it first was released it had a few problems (but what marker didn't?). Most of these seem to be fixed by now, but I must say that I see the two guys that I know having to go through a lot of downtime with their mags not working properly, but most often that problem seemed to be with the warp feed.
