Furious!!!

After being to days late, i went to collect my parcel from the P.O. and went to uni, where i currently am.

Have just had a look at the packaging to find a small hole in the top.

The parcel was a crossfire 1.1 LP tank and was packaged padded inside a card board box in side a padded envelope and covered in tape.

The small hole in the top was when the reg had been pushed through the top on the padding, box and envelope and the rim of the reg (just above the o-ring) has sheared off. I havn't opened to package further.

I'm realy pissed at the P.O. and am going to not only claim for a new tank and reg but also the postage.

Any one had any experiences with claiming from to p.o.

It was SD by 1 pm so was insured up to 500 so should i be okay?

Lots of love, a ver very pissed off Bob:mad:

plus, these days, youll probably be able to claim for distress... etc. i think that bottle suddenly became worth £499.99 didn't it??? ;)

it doesn't fix it, but its a damn good start from them

when you've claimed; please let us know how easy it is, as i have left off claiming for little items before, since i always thought it'd be too much hassle.

failing that, they'd probably manage to lose the compensation money in the post :p

Had a similar experience recently, bought some halo shells off here the other week.

Waited a bit, they come eventually (Post mark was dated the day I was told they were sent, so not senders fault)

Get the box (I get stuff delivered to work as its easier) but there is a heart sinking crunchy noise coming from inside. Open package, box has been dented and the shells are f*%ked :)mad: Cracked and front smashed in! )

Now, the packaging had been done well, so what the hell had they been doing with the box (to be able to smash a halo shell? ) playing football?

I am really losing faith with Royal Mail:mad:
