BTW - it is £1.50/min (not £15).

Any number begining with 09 is a premium rate number - and falls under ICSTIS juristiction (sp?).

Don't hold your breath about getting any kind of compensation from them though - it very rarely happens.

Most phones (especially DECT) have the ability to bar certain numbers - just bar all with a 09 prefix. BT/whoever can also add call barring at the exchange (and may charge a small fee for doing so - but, it is a lot cheaper than paying a bill full of 09's).
