nah, we held out.

never lost our home base all day. Warriors took queens after lunch when we were supposed to have taken it.

if I remember rightly the scores for us went something like

Cant remember what penalties we took for lost men but I know at lunch we hadn't taken as many losses as anyone else. Something to be proud of methinks. especially since the warriors were allowed to walk right into our base before we could shoot em.

and we took queens at lunch too

At the end of the day we lost but as always there is an upside. We took Manhatten in style (despite being chinned).

Ahhh...Like paladin's hopper, suddenly it's all clear!

Didn't we have quite a low casualty rate in total at the end of the day? I remember having a little glow of pride that the rising quantity of orange armbands at the respawning ground during the 1st defense of Manhattan weren't as high as they first looked!

I believe singing "I believe in a thing called love" by the darkness at 7 in the morning disqualifies me from being hung over.

I think like most of the other lost boys I may have still been a little merry

completely safe though............

I think I was little more than merry considering I tried to mow down Nik on the Saturday but landed in his unwanted refreshments instead.

I would like to thank Steve and Phil for driving us around and also Nik for his ability to direct us to Derby with no hesitation.
