Spire 260 roughly 10 pound more brand new, lower profile, doesnt jam, still smaller then the rotor, holds around 70-80 more balls, looks goood (in my opinion), has a range of colours ( so does the rotor) no bits can fall off, takes 5 aeconds to change from speedfeed to lid(if you know what your doing), dont need a spare top, tooless disasembly, only 3 peices, easier to clean, tray doesnt shake about, doesnt jam or chop balls (in my experience) works fine with reballs whereas the rotor jams every few shots, lid doesnt pop open as easy, bigger hole so dont lose as much balls, (rotors the exact size as the pod where as worh the spire youve still got space around) no screws, whats your pointsin favour of the rotor? :p

good points for the spire...
but all my experiances with a rotor have been flawless- no jams, no breaks in loader, not many ball drops.
i personally dont like the look of the spire, and prefer the look of the rotor, but the look is personal preference.

whats the Spires bps?

Not sure but straight out of the box it kept up flawlessly with roughyl 20 bps on the chrono on uncapped ramping another thing when your out of balls on the rotor its quite loud and the only times ive been mugged the people come off the field and say you werent out of paint by any chance was you? Smiling whereas with the spire its a little beep and a red light... Lewys

Okay so the BPS is okay...
But the rotor being loud didn't occure to me, but still the spire "Pulsates" when it is out of paint, it isnt as loud.

(Not sure what you meant with the question- if you could rephrase it) Hazza

What would you need to shoot over 15 bps for? I recon the spire could handle atleast 35-40 but whats your need for going over 15? Also it wasnt a question it was what i normally get asked agter getting mugged as they hear the rotor spinning so know im out of paint so they mug me!

Rotor all the way, tried and tested, bombproof. I know of two spires that have been returned because of issues, nearly everyone at my site uses rotors with no issues.
