It's Official: The Rock Says "I'm Avalanche Tried and True!!"
Despite rumors to the contrary, there's no doubt now; "The Rock" Rocky Cagnoni is 100 percent staying with Avalanche and playing with the team in 2003.

Rocky reacted to all the rumors in typical fashion. "Rumors are kinda like *******s, everybody has one and they all stink," laughed Cagnoni. "I've always wanted to finish my playing career with Avalanche. I want to be one of those dudes that can finish playing, look back, and say he's only played for one pro team. That's it. Just one."

Cagnoni will continue his role as a rep for Warped Sportz, host the Jawwbraker Video Series, and produce his signature Rocky Cagnoni Dark Angel IR3 through Warped Sportz and his own company, Rock Easy Products. "Rocky's always been a huge part of this team, and he's also been one of my best friends," said Avalanche owner and captain Ed Poorman. "So yea, if there's a Team Avalanche, then I want Rocky on it." Cagnoni also noted he's excited about the new beginning ahead for Avalanche in 2003. "It's always fun to mix things up and do something different," Cagnoni said.

Cagnoni is currently finishing up his Rock The Casbah Tour, which ends December 19 & 20 at East Coast Paintball in Howell, New Jersey. Rocky will be on hand for the debut of Jawwbraker: Episode II.

I mean, Rocky says he is staying, hardly the stuff of Watergate scale conspiracy now is it and also not much room for there to be 'anything else to it'.
Come on P8ntgirl, you can't just drop a little nugget like that and walk away, you gotta come up with the goods or peeps might think you could be BS'ing :)

eds starting tryouts after christmas/new year, the first tryouts are by invite only then they are holding open tryouts.

i reckon some of us brits should go over and tryout for lanche.:D

COOL, thanks for that. I got an email from him a few weeks back saying that they would be having tryouts, he just wasn't sure when. HOWEVER, if I was successful i'd have to move to the States:eek:

Would be up for it, not sure my Mastercard could handle it though. Definatly going to tryouts, just for the experiance. I'm really pumped up now:D :mad: :mad: :rolleyes:
