Hi Robbo,
I thought the subject title might catch you attention. I was wondering if you think now would be the time for some form of censorship on this forum. I ask this as i'm now seeing more porno pictures attached with threads on these pages. I know you can choose to either look at these or ignore them, but what about parents who have young children playing paintball. I'm sure these children do want to read whats happening in the world of paintball via this forum, but may be being stopped due to the porno being displayed on the threads. I know if i had children i would have to stop them reading the forum section of this web site. We all know these children are the future of the sport we love.

Hmmmm, well Jim, you certainly did grab my attention but not for reasons of vanity but because I thought, 'Oh crap, here goes another slagging off of me'.
Anyway, you make a good point and one that I had thought about before, if you remember, I have on a few occasions deleted posts that have been offensive i.e. for using particulary bad language.
I also think I added that none of us at PGI and P8ntballer.com want this site to descend into the anarchic ritualised use of particularly bad swearing that we can see every day on SmackTalk paintball.
So, I am having a meeting tomorrow where I will bring this up, and my vote will be to censor any pornographic images.
I will let you know via this thread of the outcome.

Geez...someone has apparently too little to think about, and when -I- am saying that, posting as often as I do here, it must be BAD! Quite honestly if we wanted posters protesting people's icons because they're too offensive to them, wouldn't we be playing some sport other than one that has Kickass Paintball Products, WDP's Heaven, the girl in the Angel ads, etc.? Wouldn't we NOT be 15-50 year old predominantly single men (and the rest not hypocritical enough to think themselves above ogling at a whenever dropped in their lap) with large egos, a craving for expensive toys, a fancy for a tattoo or two or ten, CD cases loaded with loud, hard driving music, desire to look good and show off in front of a camera, insatiable appetite for steaks, burgers, and other forms of red meat (with the exception of TJ, sorry dude), tons of aggression, and a primal craving for victory over "armed" opponents?

Repeat after me, fellow paintballers: "I AM A MAN, A PAINTBALL PLAYER, A SPORTSMAN, A FRIEND TO ALL WITHIN THE PAINTBALLING REALM, BUT FIRST AND FOREMOST A MAN AND I AM PROUD OF IT AND WILL NOT FORSAKE IT TILL THE DAY I DIE!"

(And any woman that wants to change that a little so that she may similarly join in the proclaimation should feel free to do so. We should be united in this cause.)

Love it or leave it. Yeah, I'm not in charge here or within the paintballing world or high at all on the totem pole, but the "do it for the children" line that politicians use to pillage entire nations' people's pocketbooks to the point of utterly crippling their economies and destroying their national pride, special interest factions use to put laws and candidates into place that even a 5 year old child could point out as being of blatant stupidity, and religious leaders use to stifle arguements against their own sometimes ludicrous ideas (it took 1500 years for the Reformation to take place, and AFTER the Crusades, Inquisition, and suppression of scientific ideas in the Renaissance took place), SHOULD BE KEPT AWAY FROM PAINTBALL AT ALL COSTS.

I sincerely hope that we as the paintball community should be better at spotting this and similar sources of destruction from within than our goverments, press, literary circles, and churches have been.

Offencive?

I have noticed the rise in half dressed females.

I have no problem with this personally and consider my self to be very open minded. Sexy faces do not offend, clothed bodys do not offend. Air bushed or otherwise crutch shots :eek: save them for your porn files they are real booring and have no style:rolleyes:

We have a lot and yes I mean a lots of kids on site some play as often as weekly in the summer and about another 20-30 play 3-8 times a year some are already playing tourney. Most and I say most are boys so they probably just love you, the nearest they get to porn. Let face it at that age they all play with them selfs over the undies section in mums catalouge. =Just try denniying it virtually every honest bloke I know has owned up to that one!!!!!!!!!.

Un like most site we do have some young 12 year old girls that seriously play and so far I have had to try to stop them acessing this board due to it's content.

I am fully aware men will be boys and they like visuall sitmulation but surely this is a public board for any one intrested in paintball.

Just for the record........

Two years ago I ceated paintball chick she has wild flowing hair, shades, angel, shocking pink lippy and matching G string and nipples you can hang a gun off.

Yes dressed only in a very small G string.

She's not Pc and you havn't seen her because here is not the place.;)
