Ridiculous JT Lense question

When you have finished the JT try a dye i3/pro and then you will know real pain

The trick is to get the nose bits in first. Then the rest of them you do buy stretching the frame from the nose. So start at the nose, do the next tabs left/right, then the next ones etc. Much easier.

I've found the dye masks harder to take apart then put back together now...

Haha, yes, If I couldn't do it in another hour my next plan was to persuade someone else to fit it for me...

When I needed a new lens, I just took a new mask off the trade stand.

In fact, when my mask was dirty, I took a new one off the trade stand.

ive heard people say they put there proflex in some luke warm water to help fit the lenses in, this sounds a bit dodgy to me

Putting the frames in luke warm water would be ok as it will make the plastic/rubber more pliable.
Lenses shouldn't be affected at that temperature but, you will damage the thermal part of it, by getting water between the 2 lenses.

Yeah it took me an hour to get the lens out of my JT Proflex, clean it and put it back in the first time I did it.

V-Force Profilers are the way to go if you want an easy mask to disassemble.
