Actually, their feed rates are almost identical. Warpig did a comparison of a bunch of different loaders here. Also, I'm pretty sure the Revy was 12V before the X-Board. The X-Board has more intelligent circuitry, so that the sun doesn't make it spin when it doesn't need to (in a clear hopper).

The Ricochet scored better than the X-Board Revvs slightly. So that means slightly better performance and more features. Go Ricochet Development!

o yes,

I have just used a ricochet at my last training session and it can keep up with the feed rate of the revy no problem. The ball counter is really handy when you are playing limited paint and with the built in timer it also alows you to keep an eye on the time. It also says that it is designed to make the paintballs ricochet of it. I can vouch for that. The ball came in hit the hopper bounched off and hit me in the head. The kelticwarriors, how I play for, we all use different hoppers and feeding systems. We have a couple of Halos and monkey uses a warp feed. The halo feeds fast but is a little bit heavier than the revy. The warp feed is has got the fastest feed cos it rams them into the breach. I suggest you get a try of the different kinds of hopper and find what works best for you.
Hope this helps.

R2k for Me.

I've had my R2k for over 2 years, since they first came out, and I haven't had a single problem with it. I know several people that see mine and they ask why I still use it and that they've had nothing but problems with theirs. I don't know if I just got that magical R2k or what. As far as deflections go, I'm up to 12 bounces off of it. :D To me, that's the best reason to have it. Don't get me wrong, I still get shot out on my hopper, but those magical 12 bounces give me another player or 2... Ball counter, is close, but I don't rely on it... GAME TIMER! is the second best feature on this for me. It's right there for me and I don't have to use my talking timer. I still have my old 12v gem in my bag just in case, but I don't really forsee the need.
Just my 2 cents.

Dont wanna cause an arguement, but that is a total lie. One of our guys has got a clear 12v with an x-board (spankers when it was bought), and it still spins when the sun is on it, even when the whole hopper and feed tube is full!!!, I think the x-board technology makes the balls feed more consistent or summat??:p

Hey Gurney,

Tell your mate to go back to where he got it from, and slap them around for a while. The x-board is supposed to be an improvement on the previous board, which did not suffer from sunlight, but had a slight delay. The x-board should not suffer from sunlight, and should not have this delay. Kinda sounds like they sold him an old board....:(

Oh, and Cooks, I couldn't agree more!

You've got one of the pre sunlight proof boards bro that's the only thing it could be....The way to check for an X-board

There's a water proof sealant sprayed onto it.
and it says x-board between the two batt posts....

if it is an x-board and it's still doing that you live in england so i am not sure how to get mail there or i would get one and send it to you for a replacement ( i work in the Vl booth at events and sometimes i "get things" ;) )
