I thought they would be about the same, but my friends swear vert is faster. Looking forward to tomorrow's sober reply for info to smack them with.;)

Crazy drunkard :) Anyway, how can you people even tell if you have a 'Cocker- it seems to be quite hard to outshoout gravity.. let alone a 12 RPS hopper- you have to be over 20 RPS to be faster than gravity, if I'm correct. Unless you're still gonna be using the same paint gun in 2040 when they come out with 'Cockers that quick, I think it's just up to your personal liking.

On another sight they had a hopper test and said that you only have to do 13 bps to get to faster than gravity. This was according to a standard feed neck length which I think they said was .6 inches or something and then used a formula to figure the acceleration in that space due to gravity for a paintball and came to the 13 bps rule. Higher rise, higher rate.

that wasn't the question arrival,think about it, a vertical drop is going to be quicker than a angled drop, ie less obstruction to the ball.the differance may only be slight but due to gravity there will be one as its quicker for a ball to drop than to roll
