Was impressed with the play i watched, and seeing cooks tackle the coke can was hilarious.
Good to put some names to faces as well.

And well played to Wendy for geting player of the tournament. I was watching her in the snake on field 1 one game, she got stuck just past the 50, but did the ccorrect thing when she knew she was in trouble. top stuff.
2 pieces of silverware in our first tournament was very very pleasing though.
oh and 3rd Div B was Leyland Tigers if im not mistaken

THANKS to CODSALL FIRE for letting me guest you young lads played very well just the guest let you down by getting shot and you not getting the max in the first game of the day.Dont under estemate these kids just coz they use site kit they upset a few teams.

When we played Manchester Extreme, I was mugged by one of your guys and he shot me 5 times at CLOSE range, in the cold...... OUCH..!!!!!!!!!!!! Do also bear in mind that I had fired a hopper of paint, well spray, I had no paint in my marker, all four of my teammates were in the deadzone, and I wasn't even looking at him when he shot me.
I did think that 5 shots were a little excessive and told him so at the time, but he couldn't give a S**t, so it seemed to me. It's all too easy in our sport to get carried away and do things like that. I've done it myself, but I always make a point of apologising if I think I was a little trigger happy. He insisted that he only fired three shot, well I have four welts in the area he shot me, and I'm sure one bounced off.
My Wife did enjoy poking the welts on my arm though.......
As most of you were aware, we had a really bad day with the paint we were using. We used three different brands of paint during the day and all three were having WAY TOO MANY barrel breaks.
I, for one, had the worst tournament I have ever played.... but the atmosphere was good and we had a laugh anyway...

i got accused of bonus balling when i mugged two guys in the same barricade on the hyperball field. the fact i shot that one twice made me tell him 'where to go', obviously just didnt enjoy getting shot in the back, completely not knowing i was coming.
but ya know whats its like in the heat of the moment, aggression can come out. playing front, its something ive had to get used to, next time ya gotta be prepared for it, an get him at the same time, like when scars mugged me

I was prepared for it......... In fact, I was 'trying' to get shot. One guy had moved right up the tape to the snake. I would never 'give up' so I was 'trying' to get shot. I left my legs right out the back of the barracade and the gut on the snake couldn't hit them. YThink he had a spunked barrel as well.........
I was in a no win situation, my gun was totally spunked up, the barracade was only small (I'm big), all my team were shot out and the other team had all the key positions.
All I'm saying is that "sorry about that, mate. You know what it's like, heat of the game and all....blah, blah, blah (shaking of hands)" don't cost a penny and makes for good team relationships........

Redskins Geezer, Chill out Dude! Nobody (except me) Likes getting Extra Lovin (bonus balled) but it does happen and I think with all these "fast as hell" rate of fire markers coming out now then it is very rarely intentional, people are trying to pull the trigger as fast as possible and make that shiny toy worth every penny they paid for it. Besides if you left the tourny with no welts it wouldn't be half as much fun

As for your paint troubles, if you know your marker is setup correctly then it's the paint! Try keeping the paint warm, it's worth filling your pot's in a heated car and only pulling your paint from the car just before the games. Trust me a lot of paint will not run in this weather and if you do this it will definetly give you the advantage on some poor fool who hasn't! Because when you see them shooting duluxe at you, you can go bunker that bitch (not putting five in his back though). It is worth warming your paint to save having a bad day! Hope this helps?

only mugging i can remember in our game (at least i think im thinking of the right game) was when Guy our last man was 3 on 1 and won......but he didnt shoot the last guy on the field at all, the last player was still in his bunker when the marshalls called time out.
id dont remember anyone saying anything at the time about being bonus balled eather.....all i remember is both our team pissing themselves at guy who did a full circuit of the middle bunker to take one guy out and then the last player on your team throwing his marker out of a bunker because it wouldnt fire!
