cmon guys. This is exactly what I'm talking about. Im not taking sides but I dont like cocky kids. RoryM i totally agree with you. Instead of bragging and trying to beat other people, why dont we come up with some ways to help noobies improve and learn, so they arent noobies anymore

So are some pro's matey.:p

I often find that newbie's are the most enthusiastic players out there, keen to learn, listen and improve as fast as they can so they can start to hold their own against better teams. Working at Campaign, there is a new team called SPOD made up of newbie's to playing tournaments. They are the most enthusiastic bunch of guys i have seen for a long time. If they stay together ten they are gonna be a great team in the years to come. The thing about NEwbies is they pick things up really fast, often at SPOD trainng sessions they get told how to do something once, and then dont need telling again, they just pick it up really easily and really quickly.:)

Best Part of being a young baller is that when you play against older men who think there gonna win that game when they walk on the feild n see who they are playing against. And Juge what size you maybe not by the way you play, the best part is just waving the flag at them when they are in the Dead box ;)

yup, 'cos he was never a newbie.............. he'd been balling for four years when he started.

That makes as much sense as the other crap he's spouting.

here's a fun lil story about an old guy who tried to control us teens.

I was at open play with my team and it was like the 3rd game of the day. We went to the field and the refs start making sure teams are even, and this new guy about 40 yrs old joins our team. He has a Spyder Compact all customized  (i didnt get it either) but he starts telling us the tactics of the upcoming match. My teammates and i start looking at each other cause it was obvious the guy had never played the course b4. But he kept going on and on about his "plan". Well the whistle blew, and this big 40 yr old go charging off. He goes about 15 feet, trips and breaks his ankle. I know it was rude, but we couldnt hold back the laughs.

Just an example, never underestimate us

its the young players who hold the future of PB in their hands, so teach them and treat them right, they might be your fast frontplayers one day while you sit back and try to gain some of their fame for you, oldie *g*

I think we should help them and teach them what to do, and what not to do. They may annoy u, but point out what they are doing wrong. What do you guys think about this?

Maybe its just the tournament circuit that you're on. On the Series 2002 circuit, my team of new players had an incredible amount of help and advice - one team even lent us two Angels, told us what codes to use, and we went out there and maxed the game. Maybe its not a coincidence that this circuit produced Panic Attack and Twisted - 2 teams that quickly became good.

thats really cool that ur local places are like that. My friends and i always try to do our best, and we know guys who help out, but its not too common here. Sometimes even teh refs are hard or not understanding, then we have to get on the refs. And thats no fun
