Only just had chance to read this. My old sig was done as a tongue in cheek comment as a break from the norm of shoot this because it makes you a champion etc etc. At the time i was playing for a suppported team so being neutral was not something i worried about. Then when i got involved as a promoter and unfortunately forgot to alter my sig as i was busy with what seemed to be more important things. Now i have left all that stuff behind so I can promote all brands involved with the CPPS and be neutral. Those who know me understand my sense of humour and know it was meant as a bit of fun those who don't or thought it was serious may i apologise now.:)

I agree wih everything here, and the way some teams behave towards their own sponsors is appaling

we are sponsored by well known company (avoiding the free plug for sake of making my point null) and while there isnt any kind of formal arrangement it is understood that both sponsor and team have a duty to each other, we dont get free stuff and nor should we. paintball is a business aswell as a sport and I wish more people respected the dealers, manafacturers and those who put the effort into the sport.

on balance with that, I think there is room for some of the companies and manafacturers to respect their customers, i take for example and without naming names of which company. ordering paint, agreeing a price, sorting that price with the team and then suddenly finding that ive been screwed for 50quid postage and now have to go to the guys and say.."hey remember how i said paint was X per box to us...well now its X plus a fiver per box.."

then as a massive kick in the teeth, phoning the delivery company to find out what the price of delivery was..as its far higher than ever before..being told we only charged 25 quid for that delivery and finding out that the dealer has proffed the rest...

needless to say, i do not buy from x dealer now, do not reccomend his paint, his nd or hers products or anything else for that matter.

also bear in mind that I had been a good customer up until that point and used their services on a exceptionally regular basis

Please, please, please forgive my silly sig, i was drunk, nieve, i was experimenting and didn't know what i was doing.:D
Problem is that sponsorship does not really exist anymore. Sure ya can be supported but how many teams outside the SPL are sponsored????? Not many if any. Paintball is too small an industry to support the sponsorship now that it once did, everybody wants everything for nothing and failing that they want it for free. To be fair are there many teams out there that are going to shoot a brand of paint or paticular gun because they saw it in someones signature?? Do you rush out to buy a mercedes because hamilton is winning the F1 championship or buy a samsung phone because Chelsea are top of premiere league?

There have been several incidents over the past few weeks and months where certain individuals have been going out of their way to have a pop at mods and other members of this forum ,this generally takes the form of low brow humor which only they find funny and seems to be the in-thing at the local kindergarten this month,but...

It has kind of got me thinking as a lot of these individuals are connected with reputable and well known paintball sites and members on these boards.

For me personally it gives me second thoughts about using these places and there associated shops,I.E I don't.

A lot of members on here have sponsors and team Logo's in there signatures and avatars and I wonder if people really consider the implications of their actions when they decide they are too cool for school on these boards. It is quite genuinely costing your friends and providers cold hard ca$h.

Is it just me that decides with my wallet?

Do you guys care what goes on on here or does it not affect your decisions in 'real life'.
dude i totally agree
i always think do i need to post or say this and will it hurt my team, me or my sponsors, hence the name change i want everyone to know who i am when i post.

i'll bet it i've probably pissed someone off or done something wrong but thats cause i'm stupid and don't think sometimes.
