I have used them a few times, and they have there good points - but unfortunatley have more bad points.

Good

Makes marker lighter
Easier to grot a goat

Bad

Annoying to play left handed
Get caught in trees (if playing woodland)
Damn confusing when you try and put your marker down
Can be very dangerous if the come disconnected
Hurt like hell when you slide or crawl on it

Im a front player for my team and it makes running a helluva a lot easier. You are quicker and can balance the gun with one hand to your shoulder for some nice accurate sliding/bunkering shots. I know of another team that swears by them on their impulses. But remeber i am refering to a remote with gas through stock.

Why yes, actually, when I had a remote my girfriend at the time's cat did play with it quite a bit.
