buy a 2nd hand A1 and get the magno valve and you have yourself an A1 Fly within your budget :D

PM7s do indeed rock though, and are so easy to maintain, i even taught my mrs to do it :D

yer i was loking at a1s they only like 425 new i think what does a good one sell on hear for ?
If properly looked after, all high-end guns are pretty much reliable as each other.
The amount of maintenance you have to do varies though.

Angels are veeery easy guns to maintain, you can do a regular lubing in about 10 seconds
DM's take a while longer and involve more, if you are stripping it down and cleaning/relubing, you'll be there for 10 minutes.

I don't think you should buy a gun on how long it takes to maintain though, but rather how well that gun works for you.

I'v had a mini, and i can honestly say it was the most awesomestness thing i'v ever shot!

Heard its pot luck weather you get a good one or a faulty one, think mine was abit of both :( doesn't work anymore...

Anyways minis are dirt cheap, round £210 new and £150 on here i do believe. but they deff ain't easy to clean if you get a chop and you have to clean out the entire bolt assembly and re-lube, would easily take 10mins which realy is too much time sometimes.

Needed very little upgrades on a mini, the standard board is great as a stock peice of kit, heard nothing but good things about the trigg from other players, i would also have to say its fantastic, but i had minor bounce probs with mine so that might take some time to fiddle around with (or i got a naff trigg which loved to bounce :p).

personal opinion, get an ego! techs are always at hand and there easy to maintain with spares and plenty of support from eclipse as well as direct proucts for the ego from them.

mini's are very easy to set for any tournament and very easy to take apart for simple maintenance.
comes with a good manual and there are videos on youtube by the guy that designed them to help you take it apart etc.

Had mine for a season and a half now and I wouldn't swap it for anything else.
