Jon, my lack of reply has nothing to do with indifference or rudeness, it has however a lot to do with something going on that requires my 100% attention, or as much as I can... as soon as my situation subsides, I promise I will get back to you, and to anybody else for that matter who may be waiting on something.

I know that you have regular life issues to deal with as well as this forum and matters arising from it.

You have been quiet lately, so I figured your attention must be needed elsewhere.

For the record, I was not expecting any movement on this issue until the early part of next year.

Reffing is something that is always on my mind, and I have thought of an addition to the course that is so simple it is borderline genius.

So, we will speak next year, and may I wish you and all the forum users a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I've been reading this and it's very interesting, good points and views, but could someone help me understand the UKPBA GRADE 3 standard marshal training or above.

Do they already have a training program in place, if so couldnt you just work of that. (just my thought).

I am not familiar with the UKPBA.

Looking at the document you have provided a link to, I would assume that the reffing qualification they refer to is geared towards customer sites, as opposed to tournaments.

I did this course a while back, it is a basic safety/competence cert for site marshalling. not really applicable in this situation.
