Reduce EGO kick

Anyone got any tips on reducing the kick when firing over 14bps reasonably consistantly?
My LPR pressure is currently on about 100psi (using the star FRM guage).
Velocity set to 270-280.

ok try turning lpr in by two and half turns from flush and the put dwell to 9/9.5 give that a try matty.

any other suggestions on star frame triggers settings much appreciated.
Am able to stop my trigger bouncing, but can only get about 14bps because the trigger pull is heavy, as soon as I lighten it, bounce city

14 isnt fast enough then?

i found that once i made my trigger legal its hard to push more than 14/15 etc

any more and i was experiencing double shots
my trigger is very light tho, happy with it, find the spring really helps. i didnt like the star trigger with my stock frame.

probably if a flat trigger comes out that has the spring screw ill get that, prefer flat triggers in general.

i can check tonight on my settings though.
as for kick all i hear is turn the lpr in 2 turns from flush and up the dwell to 9 ish. i tried it and lost efficiency a bit, and kick was not ereally any different. persoanlly i dont think egos kick much. i dont notice the barrel rising anyway.

oh yeah and make sure however light yor trigger is to have at least 1mm BEFORE the activation point. if you have the activation too close it will bounce

100psi sounds a little high.

For example, a timmy (practically the same gun) should cock at about 60 psi.

Obviously a higher LPR will give you more kick and more trigger bounce, but lower it too much and you will get drop off.

I'll try lowering the LPR by 20psi first and see what that does.

I know about the trigger point too Ian, just nice to compare settings. And everyone walks the trigger differently too!

unless the gauge is not that accurate, i "lowered" my lpr by 2 turns and the gauge didnt see that much action...

seems 90-100psi is the standard for the EGO

Chrono the gun to 300fps while the front lpr cap screw is flush.
Turn the lpr in two FULL turns
Up the dwell until the marker is sitting at 300fps again.

Job done

Just use the inline as normal for adjusting fps.
