I've spoken with John today now and going to get Thib to speak with him on Monday as according to Flash, there should be a reset of 200ms period after the final trigger pull to reset the timings:

(4) Ramping stops when you do not pull the trigger for 200ms.
(5) There is NO one second ramp restart period. That means that as soon as ramping has stopped (see 4) then you have to start again at (1).

As I was saying to you ains, I do agree with that. It just evidently rules our Axes out on any ramping modes :(

EDIT: or at least rules our Redline boards out as you can't set the reset delay lower than 1 second on them :(

It makes my gun a paper weight I cannot use at your tournament. Unless I restrict my self to semi. This obviously puts axe / mini owners at a disadvantage. I imagine the for sale threads are going to be teaming with cheap as chips axe's and mini's now. What I got for £300 will pretty soon be worth quite a bit less now.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a paperweight.. I've shot both Axes and Minis and their good markers. This may be a flaw but it doesn't stop it completely from being used in tournys. Don't get me wrong, as it stands I'll almost certainly buy a new marker. But I may still consider keeping and using the Axe. From what it seems, the Shockwave and Optimus boards may still work, it could just be the Redlines which aren't working!

They all have the same problem with the ramp restart time. I love my axe and loved my mini. Are great guns except I can't use them to their full ability in a tournament. It will loose a huge amount of resale value in the next 48 hours as things stand. This puts me on my arse.

At the moment I guess I'm going to hit the dye and eclipse fan boys who try to rub this in my face, in the face with it. Unless empire do something about all of this.

edit:
Don't want to sound all bitter but I am sure you will all see my point when I have had to scrimp and save for a top of the line marker for it to turn out I have to disadvantage my self to use it at a tournament. Seen as it doesn't adhere to mills rules.

And Jon is wrong

The first 3 shots must be semi-auto mode only.
Markers will be limited to a ROF of 10 balls per second, defined as no two consecutive shots may be timed shorter than 95ms apart (reading on ROF meter of 10.5 bps or less = legal; reading on ROF meter of 10.6 bps or higher = illegal).
Ramping of shots will be allowed only once 5 bps has been achieved. Then the marker may ramp to 10 bps, but only as long as the 5 bps is continually maintained. Once the trigger is stopped to be activated, only one single additional shot may be discharged.
Clarification: the 5 bps for start/sustain ramping dose not need to be hit physically, it refers to the time delay between trigger activations, which must be at least the equivalent to 5 bps. So a marker may start to ramp up to 10 bps, if (after the first three shots being in semi-auto only) the time delay between 3rd and 4th trigger activation is less than 200ms.

Your markers were kicking into FULL ramp after the second pull of the trigger - After a few seconds of not pulling the trigger each trigger pull fired 3 shots
this is NOT millenuim mode and thats why they were deemed hot which they were.

Whilst i appriciate your frustraion its quite simple to set up - I have checked hundreds of other minis and not one has the same issue, Personally i think its something you guys are doing to your makers as the guy who has a luxe on your team was doing exactly the same thing !

thank you for your input @scott_peters but please stop telling us it's a setup issue. This is not something that we have done on purpose and I honestly don't know how many more times I need to say that.

I'll be shooting an Ego this weekend anyway but please come find me and I'll show you that the Redline board specifically, cannot have a ramp reset time lower than 1 second. You literally cannot set it any lower! This is where the issue lies. Yes the standard boards may work with the settings Thib suggested, but it won't with the Redline.

The whole point of this thread was to contact KEE to try and determine how to resolve this issue with the Redline board... If your input isn't towards that effect, then please leave the thread alone. thank you

So how come the luxe was doing EXACTLY the same then ? does this have a redline board in it too ? no.....but i dont care really as long as no guns come on the field that are hot then we have no problems.
