AVG for the win! better than mcafee!

agreed, I got AVG. Only thing that annoys me slightly is that it slows down my p.c to buggery when performing its DAILY scan. (the daily scan is also a pain in the bum but I guess it can be changed, I just cant be ar$ed

Used both of these for years, and have used them daily at work without a single problem to result.

And I wouldn't advise Windows Defender. In the past 2 years I have been servicing computers, I've seen it catch 1 single piece of spyware.

These dont run constant though. Ad-aware will if you pay for it.

Although, for some of the best out there, you have to be prepared to give up 5 minutes a month
