Really embarrassing question - what marker do I have ?

The Ultralight board will have a semi-auto mode, if that's what you mean by 'toning it down'?
I guess so? Would that make it legal at somewhere like mayhem for a regular weekend instead of a walkon day?

I take it that just disables ramping, etc?

Any pointers to where I can find a manual? I just downloaded the Protomatrix.pdf, but it doesn't seem to cover the circuit board I have in this unit.

Thanks!

Electronic markers are only allowed on walkon days at Mayhem. Mechanical markers such as A5's, 98's etc... are fine to use aslong as they dont have any electronic upgrades i.e. an e-grip.

Some sites occasionally allow it if you ask the group/if its your group and they agree to not having a problem with it. But you have no idea until you get there, and Im not sure if Mayhem enforce this rule.

Best bet would be to give them a ring tomorrow

if you played in a private group an electro would be no problem however if you are joining other groups and they have issues with it then you would have to use a mech marker, come to a walkon mate, paint is cheaper and its a nice relaxed day, next one is sunday

If I can find some spares for this beast, I'll definitely be there Sunday. I'm hoping to bring my wife along, but I need to call Mayhem tomorrow and find out if they rent gear to walkon players.
