I agree it would be nice,

BUT I think to make it happen it would:-

A) Need to be run by a new independent group. (So come on Ledz, step up and start becoming a promoter )

B) Offer a big ass cash purse for the winners to give all the top teams the incentive to play it. Say each team pays entry, costs are covered, rest goes to the first place winner...

I miss the old days of just one format/series also.

Yeah I guess we really need one big body to start things rolling. The problem is to get all of us into one place and start talking.

Just a suggestion, we could get people from different countries in all contenent to sit down and start a international federation or something.

Yeah Ledz i miss those old WC where everyone and there sister and gran ma were there to see who was the best that weekend.But times and people have changed we lost that were all in this together feeling which i find sad.Im with ya tho Ledz if we could ever get it arranged im all for reffin and buildin it and makin it work so let us dream of a better day and maybe it will happen soon Lova ya Ledz

wouldnt it be better if you had like a proper world cup like football with the best players playing for there country like england vs the usa. didnt it happen once a couple of years ago thats how nexus formed wasnt it not to sure but i think that would be a top idea bring some pride into the sport and i think more people would watch and it would become more of a spectator sport with people surporting there country

money

i suppose money is a main problem for everyone now adays. teams have to spend money getting there, there will be money spent getting fixture places etc

i think this would be a great idea, especially if it done in country wise first so all the teams can enter ....

that could be one way to solve money, if all the little teams help out in entering and paying, maybe they get like a seat in their countrys finals etc ...

if it were to work i think all the major teams captians, or ppl in charge should have a meeting, firstly to see where the interest lies, and also think of how it will work .. the money

but my main idea is if all teams are allowed to enter, and maybe for the countrys final they get a few seats, and that way they will get in money, what team wouldn't not like to try and qualify for the world cup!!!

why just the top teams,why not every team instead of making it sound like only the big teams matter in all this

Err they do, if you want to find out who the best is.

Ledz isn't looking to find out who the best Div3 team is, or who the best newbie team of the hour is. (no offense intended)

Winner takes all.

Newbs and Div 3 can play to take part, but they can do so for the fun of playing the top teams (like it used to be) and not for the hope of sand bagging and winning something!

I don't think any of the lower division teams should get much in the way of prizes for winning major events. Because they didn't 'WIN' they just did the best in the their bracket.

To 'WIN' an event you need to come #1 overall in my opinion.
