Hold on.......are you lot seriously considering the idea of mooching around where ever you train using reballs for hours on end, picking them up one by one..... You're missing the point somewhat, that's why brooms and garden vacs were invented.

If you are training in an enclosed indoor venue like a barn or wherehouse such as what Joy use then they are perfect. Once you have shot all of the balls then sweep/blow them into a corner, scoop em up, wash em off and use 'em again. As regards the whole 'what's the point as they are reduced velocity', as they are lighter than paintballs, at 220fps they travel a comparitive distance to a pball at 300fps. Obviously their flight characteristics are slightly difference, but f you are working on shorter range drills like they show in the 2nd vid it's not going to make a blind bit of differnce.

If Joy and Nexus are using them....

How do you stop double feeding them? I tested Reballs but they're so small that Timmy's normal ball detents let 2 or more slide in barrel.

Also, the reballs are so light that when there's about 20 balls in Evo2, the paddle just throws them around the loader. They won't feed properly then.

I had occasional double feeding on my Speed 05, innitially I thought it was just my detents so in a way it's good that someone else is experiencing it.

Hmm

Going to take a look at it.

Ball size is small for a couple of reasons. First it increase accuracy and second it decrease friction in the gun.
The weight is a factor for being able to shoot at others and decrease the impact energy.

If you have problems with the last 20 balls I suggest you refill at that level. Its like you said the weight. With Halos you dont see this problem.

I have seen occasional double feeding also, but in a level that can be accepted.
Most ball detents can be adjusted if needed to run a smaller ball.
Reball is aprox 684 size
But if it is a big problem please email and tell us.
All feedback is used directly.

I have already called our tech guys and they are looking at this stuff Apache and Collier raised :)

i usually say everything is crap if its not a new timmy but magued has done himself proud here. i used them at malaga and couldnt see anything wrong with them. I snap shot the pot 3 times in a row out of 5 and i was pissed so they deffinatley fly straight!

even if you dont use them for shooting each other its still a great invention to use at home - indoors!

220 fps max? is that a safety guideline or a legal limit? what's the muzzle energy of a reball?. 300fps with a paintball is just our rules (about 10 foot pounds)....... legally it's not over until 330 (12 foot lbs)......... what about with a reball? I make 220 fps at 2.5 grams about 4 foot pounds? do you even feel them? Or are they a lot smaller than paintballs so exert their force over a smaller area?

As I understand it (explained by Reball guy), the 220fps is a recommendation due to the flight characteristics but also that figure is also about the legal requirement.

I've been shot by one that was traveling out of a gun set to shoot standard size tournament paintballs at 290 and, well, you can feel it. I wouldn't have said it hurt any more than a regular paintball. As mentioned above the Reballs are a bit smaller than regular balls at around .684.

Not sure why they'd have to fire at 220 fps.... no where near the airgun limit......... is it just an accuracy thing then? Or is there some other legal requirement I'm not aware of? (Is it a euro thing?)
