I had the same problem with my shocker.
I drilled 2 small holes in the end cap and unscrewed it using a spanner shaped tool that has 2 pins in it (the type of tool used on small angle grinders to remove the grinding wheels.) Once the end cap came out I replaced it with a new one .

Found out that there was still air in the gun so first thing i do now is turn the gun on eliminate the eyes and fire it until the air is all out.

I went out and brought a stainless rammer cap for my ego.

Hope this helps,

yer i just took the macro hose out and there is no pressure and the bolt still doesnt move smoothly.

i will give the glueing the allen key in a go and see where i get with that, then ill buy a steel rammer cap(that was my plan anyway)

thanks for your help

Martin.
just because you removed the macro line doesnt meen there isnt air in the gun still, even without air connect an ego can store up to 2 shots in the chamber (first page of the manual i think).
power up the marker, turn the eyes off and shoot it (not in the house and make sure no paint) to make sure there really is no gas in it.
if you insist on trying to remove it your self an ez-out is the correct tool, however i would recommend sending it into planet and having one of our techs take care of it for you.

right i tried the araldite stuff left in 24 hours and went to unscrew it and it just crupled away, didnt budge again:( , my dad said he saw something made by loctite that goes as hard as steel, wondering weather to give that a go.

dude i had the exact same issue on my 05 basically you need to get a torx bit just slighly over size and keep tapping it all the way to the bottom of the hole then with a suitable lever bar with a hex bit holder start to unscrew id been trying for ages but that worked 1st time for me and man was it was tight its almost like the ally has cold welded itself

i'm sure theyll see a large hole in your rammer cap, with an allen key half stuck into the back of it, and work out whats wrong with it! if not pm some of the planet guys on here, and tell them you're sending it in - better yet; give them a ring tomorrow during the day to find out the exact protocol

(please put some pics up of your butchered rammer cap :) )
