Race me...

Race gun by far.

because of looks, reliability, interactivity, options and just downright speed cocker shooting :)

Centreflag frames can still go out of time since it uses your mechanical parts.

Only Sandridge and Race can have the ACE, Race's general gun installation looks way better than a Sandridge and you can still use conventional 45 style grips.

Race has intellifeed and single trigger options and allows you to connect to your computer and fiddle :)

Face it, you want to Race it :D

Nice
We have a teammate running a Race Gun frame on his EvO X, the electro five ways is hidden by his original shroud... so from the outside, nearly nobody can tell it's a fantastic electro cocker... so he doesn't get many questions from newbies... no star no glory at the chrono station I mean....

On the other hand, if you own a sandridge... everybody will ask you what is that little box under your frame!

Naaah just kiddin' and being a bit ironic, Sandridge has also a nice boxless version.

Go to some forums like pb nation, make up your own mind! I'll give you some links: http://sandridgepaintball.com/open.html
and http://www.protechpaintball.com/home.html

Is there any tournament teams using electro-cockers with frames from another trademarks than RaceGun ?

Oooh , I really wonder why??

Hmm, Manike's covered the technical stuff, Topors covered the "what other electro grips do you see used by tourney teams" angle, so I guess I'm gonna have to go for the customer service angle.

Raceguns really are the mutts nuts when it comes to looking after their customers. Best customer service I've ever had from any company full stop, paintball or not. I've heard certain things said about sandridges customer service that was less than complimentary.

Not only that, they really do listen to what people want, and if they can change their product to what the general masses want, they will.

And what Topor said about nobody on the outside knowing it's an electro cocker - they can once you start shooting at them! :D ;)

Oh yeah, and Race is the only eletro frame to include classic mode - let's face it, we like the way cockers work, right? You hold the trigger, the bolt stays back - fantastic.
Personally, I can actually get a higher rate of fire from classic mode, as the marker cycles "with" me, rather than just completing the firing cycle as fast as it posibly can - in classic mode you can shoot with the "rhythm" of the cocker.
Become one with the electro-frame, grasshopper.

Anyways, that's enough "Zen and the art of cockers" wibblings for today! ;)

I have to agree with the customer service angle. I was checking my e-mail yesterday for a change and what did I find but an offer from Topor to help me out with any questions I had. That's going out of the way to find a bit of interest and then offer to help without shooting a bunch of propaganda at me. That alone will probably get race my business. Now I just have to save a little money.:)

I know all about the lack of funds, but just can't seem to manage to take the sabbatical! ;)

And as if your mind wasn't already made up, the new board is luvley. They've replaced the dome switch behind the trigger with a leaf switch - which gets rid of a lot of the trigger bounce problem - and feels really sexy too! :D

Also - they now do the V. nice -e- frontblock - a frontblock with the 5-way housed inside, but I'm sure you'll have seen those on the race site ;)
