If you can get it sent over try and get it declared as warranty replacement/no value.
Whether they will or not is a different matter!

Just as a side note, don't you all find it weird that when you import paintball equipment into the UK, it's classed and taxed as sporting goods, yet the sports council don't recognise it as a sport...... seems to be a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.....

I understand some of you guys have had problems but I have had two markers shipped from the States and had no problems at all. The sender just declared the value to be £50 so no tax was payable and it came within 2 weeks. If you buy from a reputable store you should have no problems paying with a credit card, getting refunds etc if you need to. I saved a whole load of money.

I have had two markers from the US both were marked up as various aluminium anodised parts. Both were sent in two boxes(Dissassembled) wrapped as one parcel. each parts true value was less than the threshold and as it wasn't an assembly, etc, etc. I got them for their price and postage.

Perhaps people could share the information about which online stores have these flexible shipping policies as some I have spoken to wont ship at all to the UK and some will but cant appreciate the problems we have with Tax etc

thanks

The only problem about declaring a low value is if the package gets lost you have no insurance up to that value :) i personally don't think its worth the risk for a high end marker. If u do claim a lower value then i suggest using a company like UPS or Fedex. NOT USPS as they hand over to parcelforce which are hopeless. Also if you get caught putting a lower value u can get in sh*t.
