When will we see you compete regularly in america, we all know the PSP is where its at, and we all know you guys have the talent. I am assuming its the epic costs involved. I just wanted to see where you stood on playing in the US?

cheers

Epic costs are ofcourse a big part of one of the reasons it would be hard to regularly compete in the states but we are Dyes europeon flag ship team and strive to promote Dye as fully as possible.

We will be taking the trip over the pond for Worldcup this year so hopefully we can bring back some silverware.

I have seen Nexus/Shock over at WC the last couple of times I was there, and they always look impressive.

Another question - is Jeff Abbott a pro player?

Do you really think you can bring back silverware in the US semi-pro div? I know you have to be positive n'all, but do you really think the quality gap has closed between US and European teams to that extent?

This aint an attack, I'm interested to see why you think the gap is getting smaller or bigger (business as usual) as the case may be.

I cannot see any reason why we wouldn't be able to compete in the US semi-pro division. We had a great year last year winning two events and we are playing even stronger this year and are really looking forward to playing at the world cup to see how we compete.

I think if we were able to make it over to the USA to play a couple of PSP's then we would no doubt soon be playing on Sunday afternoons. You cannot just go over there once and play the same style of Millennium paintball as we do in Europe and expect to win as the playing style/reffing is different and takes some getting used to and adjusting to.

Like you say, you have to be postive and all, but there is a difference between being positive and REALLY believing that your team can go on and win the event and beat any team, every Nexus player does have this belief otherwise they wouldn't be on the team. DYE are not just positive about Nexus, DYE have to believe that Nexus can be the best team in Europe, just being positive about us wouldn't go anywhere close to jusitfying the awesome support we get from DYE.

As for the "gap" god knows, without playing the US teams regularly in the US and in Europe it is hard to say. In my opinion the top CPL teams could take care of themselves in the Semi Pro PSP division but would certainly struggle playing in the NXL.

toe to toe though, I don't think there is that much difference between individuals but its what you do as teams that counts

maybe this helps, probably not

He's not no, he said he was in his Pbnation profile (a lie) and the only reason he played in Paris was because I think Leigh, Dunny, Tommy and one other were absent and so the team had no other option than to put him on..which by the way is, to my knowledge, the only time he has ever played for a pro team ...which in my book, doesn't constitute pro player status.
The other players don't want him anywhere near the field of play believe me, all bar one hate his sorry ass.
Basically, he's a liar and certainly not good enough to play pro, and never has been.
Oh, and I have been threatened by someone that if I ever tell everybody jeff abbott is a thief again, this 'somebody' will get all nasty and so I won't mention jeff abbott is a thieving scumbag again ..... my knees are still shaking from that initial threat ...

For what it's worth Matski I'll throw my two pence in. (You still have pence, don't you?) I have no doubt they can compete. Two things will likely determine how well. The layout and their ability to make adjustments during a match. On a player to player basis I think the best Euro teams have been close for a while now. It will be interesting to see.
