Question for new members

rancid

Mother, is that you?
Alright geezers?

Here, help an old pgi er out with a bit of research.

As a new member to the site what has persuaded you to sign up? Were you hanging round as a guest for a while, or did you just jump in? Also, how did you find out about it?

Ok then, I'm still relatively new around here.

I first found out about this site from the magazine.
I always see sites advertised in magazines and always try to remember to visit them, but always forget once I'm online.
Then I head about it more by word of mouth and logged on one day. I always went to the home page and clicked on one of the 5 or so 'Hot Thread', I visited every so often for a couple of months just checking out whatever was hot whenever I visited, then I got recognising names etc. and became slightly more familiar with the site and became comfortable in how you guys treated 'newbies' and how open and varied your topics and coversations were. Eventually I felt it was time I started voicing my own opinion and signed up - I'm telling you I've been on mulitple times a day ever since!! It's a fenomenal site and set of forums!:D

Keep up the good work PGI, you're providing an invaluble service for paintballers around the globe! Now, I encourage my mates to log on every now and then and typically spread the word by mouth. I believe I was also reffered to your site by means of some other too, of which I cannot recall any names....

.....and that's my story!! :D

Had subscribed to PGI for a couple of years, then saw there was an online forum from the online magazine site.

Hung out and lurked for a while until I found a thread of interest, then decided to register so I could post my .02 cents.

Haven't posted much, but then, I'm not local

Enjoy reading all the cool Brit slang
;)

And, on occasion, Robbo makes a post I can agree somewhat with. He's OK for a tourney ****er (said with affection and respect, dude).

Oh wow. I can't believe the censors edited that phrase! In Texas, a tourney w@nker is someone who prefers tourney over rec/scenario games. And I thought we Yanks were cynical!

Rock on.

Don't sweat it - there's a Brit town called S****horpe an that gets edited out automatically too! Either it's a real hellhole of a place or the machine don't like tha word **** in tha middle.

And dude, you are local - there are waaay more American forum members than Bits, the Britz are just louder.

Brits louder than us...who'd have thought it?
