The rule was 100% fair in my opinion. 1-4-1 for playing on if a shot hits a thin part of the pack that the ref judges you could feel the shot through. Also the new rule about being shot in the back pack was pathetic, sometimes you don,t feel them, and being 141 for this i feel was unfare.Once rules are set then they should stay that way and not change every new game.
right i was a player for full on in this game and watch what happened from the dead box as usual and saw my player get checked and no shot was found then your mugger came past and shot him after he had been shot BUT the marshall did not go in and wipe my teams player down he shot your last player who had no paint and then another marshall spotted the shotWhen i asked the ultimate to explain his decision he contradicted hiself twice the decision had been made our last player was put back in and allowed to hang the flag then the other team had a moan to the ultimate and he went back on his decision and let them have the points
So ontop of havin a death in the family on thursday 2 playes not turning up sunday morning and then that costin us 3rd i was very VERY P!SSED off other than that a great day as usual
At the captains meeting Wendy said that marshalls would not be 1-4-1ing if the shot hit one of your pots, or the part of the pack that holds the pots as they are the most padded parts and therefore there is a chance that you wouldnt feel it. However, if you were hit on the part of the pack that comes around your waist or over the small of your back then it would be up to the ref to decide whether that part of the pack was thick enough for you to not have felt it or whether you should be 1-4-1'd.i agree to disagree, everyone will have different opinions of the said incident, i agree with the pack hit elimination rule sucking, yes i agree your shot, but if you dont feel it how do you know to check yourself? are youe meant to play the whole game chasing your tail checkin? again my opinion. but think all this argument not just the pack hit thing is swings and roundabouts, i can say this you can say that, he can say this and they can say that.
You should be eliminated for a hit anywherei agree that would be the best option but if some people eliminate you for a hit round the back of the back, then it sort of defeats the object of implementing the rule. rules should be abided by all not some pull you for something and others dont, people watch games and do get the feel for what they can and cant do.
